At Brown’s Gym Orbit, we believe in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all our participants. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we have established a set of policies and rules that prioritize safety, respect, and the overall well-being of our community.
General Policies

Monthly Tuition Coverage:

- Your monthly tuition covers 4 classes a month (one class per week) per our gym calendar. Monthly tuition is due on the 1 st of each month!

Sibling Discounts:
- WE OFFER 10% OFF SIBLING DISCOUNT for the 1st child and 20% OFF all other siblings. Their 2nd CLASS in a week is also 10% discounted. (all programs except karate). Annual membership for siblings is prorated by $15. (NO DISCOUNTS ON CAMP REGISTRATIONS FOR NON-MEMBERS)

Dress Code:
- Proper attire for classes are as follows: Girls 3 and older are REQUIRED to wear a one piece. These can be purchased at our Pro Shop or elsewhere. Hair MUST be pulled back at all times. Boys can wear gym shorts and a T-Shirt. NO JEANS, NO ZIPPERS, NO JEWELRY

Moving to Another Class:
- If your current class schedule no longer fits, you’re welcome to change to a different class at any time. Check for available space in your desired class and complete the move form at our facility.

Class Promotions | Moving to another Level:

- Levels 1 and up (ages 6 and up) will have skill assessments every 3 months over a 2-week session to be evaluated on all 5 stations in the gym. This evaluation will determine if your
child has mastered the skills required for the next level. Please understand that every child progresses at their own pace and not everyone will be promoted at the same time. All promotion space to the next level is first come first serve. Reservations for the next level are not permitted prior to promotion. This is different than moving to another class of the
same level. See office for more information.

Makeups:
- We understand things happen and you may not be able to make class. If you miss a day of class you may call (best time to call regarding make-ups is between 10 AM and 3 PM) or come in to schedule 1 make-up class per month (for all programs, except Karate and Competitive Team). No need to call ahead, call us after your child has missed the class the following day. Don’t rush! As long as you are still registered in our program, you have 30 days to do a make-up. You can always do make ups in a different program as long as it is an age appropriate class. This gives your child the opportunity to try another program. If no class is available for make-up, your child may come to the Open Gym free of charge, you must register for the ahead of time and this is only for ages 6 and up. Everyone has 30 days from the day they missed class to complete the make-up class. All make-up classes must be completed prior to your child’s final day in classes.

Dropping a Class:
- If for any reason you have to drop a class, please plan ahead, so we can also plan our classes and keep the appropriate teacher-student ratio. A written notice stating that you will be discontinuing classes MUST be received minimum of 30 days prior to the month dropping. EXAMPLE: If today is September 25th we must receive your notice BEFORE October 1st to drop the class for November. You can come to the office and fill out a drop form, or email a letter to drops@brownsgym.com If this notice is not received on time you will still be responsible for payment, even if your child is not able to participate
Summer Camp Policies

Summer Camp Rules & Policy:
- All Students are required to be Signed IN & OUT each day. Preschool students MUST be picked up by 3:00PM each day. Recreational campers must be picked up by 5:30 each day.
Any student not picked up on time is subject to a late fee of $1.00 per minute charged to the card on file. Any fees that are delinquent will delay your child from continuing to attend summer camp.
Anyone picking up your child/children must be on your authorized pick-up form. Brown’s Gym will not accept changes over the phone for pick-up arrangements for the safety of the children and staff. I understand that ID will be requested to pick up my child/children from camp. The drive thru pick will be open from 4:30-5:30 and anyone picking up from drive thru must have a car rider sign, your child will not be released without one.
Your cooperation in this will help ensure the safety of your child.
Parents are required to have medical insurance and will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred at camp. I understand that participation in gymnastics and various sport activities involves motion, and such carries a risk of injury. Brown’s Gym is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items at camp.

Camp Payment Terms:
- I understand that if I am participating in less than 2 weeks of camp, payment and registration fees are due in full upon signing up. If registering for more than 2 weeks of camp, I will keep a card on file for payment. Payment will be processed every Thursday the week prior. If payment is declined for any reason, there will be a $10.00 decline fee added to my account. On Monday, the week of if payment has not been made my child will not attend camp. There are no guarantees that space will be available after Monday for my child during the week of due to non-payment. I understand that there are no refunds or transfers of funds due to my child not attending for any reason.
Any changes that need to be made must be made 2 weeks in advance. There are no guarantees of availability. Summer camp space is first come first serve based on a student teacher ratio. Schedules are made 2 weeks in advance, no changes no exceptions, no refunds, no cancelations for weeks paid.

After School Policies

After School Rules & Policy:
- If your child is going to be picked up by Brown’s, you must notify the office by 12:00 PM if your child will not be on the van ride from the school to the gym. You can call the gym at 407-869-8744 or send an email to info@brownsgym.com. The voice mail is on 24 hours a day.
Brown’s gym pick up time is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by 6:30 PM and Wednesday by 5:30 PM. If your child is not picked up on time you will be charged $1.00 per minute late to the card on file.
It is the families/child’s responsibility to make sure that they have something to drink and snack everyday along with the proper attire to participate in the gym. Proper attire for girls would be a 1 piece leotard or something athletic with no buttons, zippers ot JEANS, hair pulled back and no jewelry. Boys would be athletic clothing, nothing with buttons, zippers or jeans.
Children are not permitted to sit out during the after school program, we are an after-school sports facility. We are not a day care. Children must remain with their group and active at all times. Homework is not permitted at out facility. We are an Open access facility meaning our program does not assume responsibility for the children, they can come and go at anytime without permission or prior arrangements or adult supervision.
Electronic Devises are not permitted while in the gym. They must keep them put away while here. The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items. No personal items should be brought from home to the gym.

Cancelation Policy for After School:
- Brown’s Gym Orbit Sports Academy requires all student’s to give 1 full weeks notice in writing to drop from the program. If you do not meet this requirement you will still be responsible for the following weeks tuition. Email your notice to Drops@brownsgym.com
General Questions
Are there trial classes available for new students?
Yes, we offer trial classes for new students to experience our programs before committing. Please contact us to schedule a trial.
Are parents allowed to observe classes?
Yes, parents are welcome to observe classes from designated viewing areas. We encourage parents to enjoy watching their child’s progress.
Is there a minimum age requirement for the Karate program?
Yes, the Karate program is designed for children aged 6 and above.
What safety measures are in place during classes?
Safety is our top priority. All our instructors are background-checked and safety-certified. Additionally, we maintain a well-equipped facility and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
Do you offer private lessons for specific skills or techniques?
Yes, we offer private lessons for students ages 6 and up looking to focus on specific skills or techniques. Please inquire about availability and pricing.
Can children with special needs participate in your programs?
